Linn School Opens for the Season

Linn School is located approximately two miles north of Marion on Route 4. The one-room schoolhouse built in 1897 served students up to the eighth grade.  Rescued and restored through the partnership of the purchasers, Merle and Oliver Hamilton, and Quality Masonry Company, Inc. In 2002, the school was donated to the Marion County Historical Society.

Admission to Linn School is $2.00 for adults and children in grades K-12, and children under 5 are free

Linn School is open on the 1st and 3rd weekends in May, June & August; on the 2nd and 3rd weekends in July, 1:00 pm -4:00 pm; and we also schedule tours by appointment through October.
