A Night at Heritage Hall
The Marion County Historical Society will present the 16th Annual “A Night at Heritage Hall” on Saturday, March 26,2022 from 6:00 pm- 9:00pm. Courageous participants explore the dimly lit museum with flashlights, meet historic personalities and discover many new things about the past as they travel among exhibits (throughout the historic 1910 era Federal Post Office) that spring to life to tell their stories. Linn School Opens for the Season
Linn School is located approximately two miles north of Marion on Route 4. The one-room schoolhouse was built in 1897, and served students up to the eighth grade. It was rescued and restored through the partnership of the purchasers and donors, Merle and Oliver Hamilton, the Marion Historical Society, and Quality Masonry Company, Inc. of Marion, Ohio, and in 2002 was donated to the Marion County Historical Society.
